Named after the continent, due to it’s similar shape, the North America nebula is one of the largest objects we see in deep space, covering area more than four times larger than a full Moon.
Event with reducer i cannot see the whole nebula, including the Pelican nebula below. The current image is 90 megapixel mosaic, consisting 6 mosaic tiles with total exposure of around 10 hours.
